Due to the fact that Dillon is still playing in the 3A football playoffs, the Basketball games between Dillon and Mullins, scheduled for tonight in Dillon and Friday night in Mullins, have been postponed.

As a part of our focus on literacy, Dr. Bethea, our interim superintendent, has challenged each of our primary and elementary schools to invite 30 community stakeholders/ readers in to read to students during the 30 days leading up to winter break (November 15 – December 15)! 

Giving the gift of reading is a great way to start the holiday season!

to kick off Rally For Reading!

 

Marion Intermediate School has been visited by Elista Smith, Dr. Julie Norman, Jayne Caesar, Chief Willie Smith and Tanisha Tennie

 

North Mullins Primary had Dr. Myron Davis and Willena Rembert read to students

 

McCormick Elementary Students had Amanda Hardy, Attorney Robert Corley, JMS Principal Becky Ford, Caroline Baxley, Dr. Dionne Vance and Katrina Clavon read them for Rally for Reading.
